For high-strength bars such as HRB500, Cold Saw (Ceramic Metal) blades are recommended due to their superior high-temperature resistance and ability to provide smoother cuts in batch scenarios.
To reduce burrs, we recommend using blades with a higher tooth count (60-120 teeth) and ensuring that the blade is sharp. If burrs increase, it is time to grind or replace the serrations.
Dry cutting is strictly prohibited. Lack of lubrication leads to excessive frictional heat, which can cause the blade to lose hardness or even burst, significantly shortening the tool's lifespan.
For steel bars with a diameter ≤ 20mm, a 250-315mm blade is ideal. For bars exceeding 20mm in diameter, you should select a larger blade ranging from 350-500mm.
HSS-Co blades offer significantly improved wear resistance and hardness, making them suitable for high-load cutting demands where ordinary HSS might wear down too quickly.
We recommend cleaning debris from the saw teeth every 15 minutes during continuous operation and checking the fixture clamping stability before every new cutting cycle.
